Spent the day cruising up the Columbia River gorges. They are very barren, rocky and steep. The fishing pegs are a bit tricky. Went through some really deep locks, over 100 feet. Roasting hot here, the old folks are dozing & Wally's on the look out for anything that will waken them. Been out on the bikes again, but it's not enough to cope with the waistline expansion programme. Off to plutonium land tomorrow, break out the lead underpants.
