There be dragons, baby sea lions, pretty crabs & funny rocks here. We have been going ashore by RIB, jumping into the surf and doing long hikes around the islands. Each RIB of 12 has a naturalist with them that identifies & explains the wildlife & geology. New islands are being created as volcanoes over a hotspot in the sea bed and then drifting eastwards as the sea bed moved. The islands then sink under another plate that is moving also.
